STL Heroin Help (STLHH) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise awareness related to the prevention, treatment, and education of heroin and opiate addiction; to provide community and educational outreach, and support solutions for those affected.
STLHH was a conceptualized in the Summer of 2011 by Jon Gergeceff and Marilyn Smashey after the passing of a loved one due to a heroin overdose. The need for such an organization was evident, obvious, and overwhelming.
In the Fall of 2012, STL Heroin Help was officially founded and recognized as a non-profit organization by the State of Missouri. The organization was founded by Jon Gergeceff and incorporated by Scott Godar.
